Stratosphere Hires Red Mercury Entertainment

Las Vegas-based Red Mercury Entertainment will take over theater programming and box-office management at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, starting in July. Stratosphere will continue to manage entertainment operations. Current productions include the Michael Jackson tribute, "MJ Live," and "Pin Up," starring 2011 Playboy's Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair.

Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower in Las Vegas recently announced Red Mercury Entertainment will bring shows and events to the Stratosphere Theater and manage the theater box office effective July 12. Stratosphere will continue to manage entertainment operations.

Red Mercury Entertainment owner and Managing Partner Darin Feinstein said, “Red Mercury Entertainment has been working with the Stratosphere team over the past year and in furtherance of that relationship will take over box office and theater operations. We plan to compliment the current programming with new productions and events.” Stratosphere Vice President of Entertainment Matt Mascali added, “This represents a new chapter for Stratosphere as we enlist the management team of Red Mercury Entertainment to add to the award-winning live entertainment on the north end of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. We look forward to elevating this successful relationship and providing great entertainment options to our guests into the future.”

Since March, Stratosphere Entertainment has offered “MJ Live” in the Stratosphere Theater, co-produced by Dick Feeney, Darin Feinstein and Carlos Reynoso. The theater also offers the age 18-plus show “Pin Up,” starring Claire Sinclair, Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year, plus live music and talented singers and dancers, inspired by the classic pin up calendars from the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s.

Starting August 17, Stratosphere will present the two-day seminar and training course “Spy Escape & Evasion,” taught by Jason Hanson. A former CIA agent for more than a decade, Hanson brings real-world spy safety experience and techniques to the course and teaches critical skills to keep individuals and their families safe.
